Dennis (Peewee) Boaden

It is with deep regret that the news of Peewee Boaden’s passing  must be noted.

At approximately 1240 (CDST) 2 January 2014, Dennis Boaden (Peewee) succumbed to a culmination of a number of illnesses that had beset him of late.

Dennis has spent a number of weeks in ICU in Adelaide’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital, often on artificial breathing apparatus and fought bravely.

Dennis and Jo Quinn have been visiting him every second day or so and supporting Dennis’s wife Karen during these harrowing past few weeks. They believed after seeing and speaking with him on New Year’s eve that he was to be moved from ICU to a separate respiratory ward, but unfortunately this was not to happen.

As you can all well imagine, Karen is devastated at this moment and I am certain that Dennis and Jo will pass on the thoughts and love that was felt for Peewee by all members of 87 to her.

Quinny has promised to pass on any notifications as they come to hand re funeral notices and family wishes.
