Melbourne.. from Marg Ralph
Melbourne turned on the rain once again for Anzac Day, but this did not stop our intrepid marchers – Brian, Yvonne and Michelle Englund, Rob Hanisch, Des Ralph, Lyn Hatton, and Jenny Hurnell.
Those of us who waited for the adventurers at Bell’s Hotel in South Melbourne were – John Horner (down from Canberra and staying at the Ralph’s), Bob and Adriana Wilson, Graham and Jenny Morcom, Michelle’s partner in crime Andrew and their two beautiful children Heath and Sassha, our friend Kerrin Andronica, and Marg Ralph.
Once again a pleasant lunch was held, in a private dining room ( we think Management thought we might be un-ruly!!!).
Brisbane.
The march this year was once again well attended but 87 was a bit short in representation in the city march as the suburban marches tended to attract more people this year. Probably due to the 100 years grants that were spread around willy nilly.
Ted Baulch, Donger Hodgson and Glen Hutley were about the only members to turn up and as usual we marched under the banner of the ATA.
Maj Gen David Ferguson led our contingent and just to the left and behind the little female soldier is Donger (wearing a giggle hat).
On my gunjeep is myself, Paul Clements, Ted Baulch and David Schukhraft
