My old Hard drive in my ever faithful computer gave up the ghost about 4 months ago so I bit the bullet and went out and purchased a brand new one. Following a month or so of retrieving a lot of old info and reinstating programmes (and trying to recall passwords that were put in place under a certain frame of mind that have long since passed from mind) I was just starting to have a win when I was hit with a Ransomware virus that disabled a lot of widows programmes. I though I would outsmart the ransomware bit by restarting my computer to an earlier date, but that was unsuccessful, and it wasn’t until I attempted to update my Garmin traffic doohickey that Garmin firstly informed me of my ongoing computer problems and secondly rectified my computer before allowing me access to their site. Alls well that ends well…..or so I thought.
Now we are in the midst of hooking up to the NBN debacle, and outside world contact is as about as reliable as the ever changing weather conditions.
At this moment, I think and hope that we are back on top of things so, while couple of broken ribs try to heal, I will try and catch up with a few backlog greetings and articles that I have received from various people. Thank you for your patience.
