Last Friday, April 28th, saw the very poignant funeral for Rob Hanisch. It was at Mornington Green and all Rob’s family were in attendance, plus members of 87 Tpt Pl.
Bob and Adriana Wilson, Brian and Yvonne England, and daughter Michelle, Gerry and Barbara Geary, Jenny Hurnell, her son Ben, plus Des and myself. Jenny Morcom was unable to attend due to Covid.A wonderful send off to a long time suffering, stoic, friend.Marg Ralph

Today at Woody Point Qld., 3rd May 2023 was the funeral of Bob Lawrence whom some members of 87 may remember. Bob was previously with 86 in Pucka and posted to SVN with 1 ALSG to Bien Hoa and on that Units transfer to Vung Tau, Bob was admitted to 1 Fd hospital and RTA’d without actually spending any great time with 87, nevertheless he was one of ours. His funeral was a quiet family affair including a number of ex military friends, including Patsy, Myself and Marie Thomson representing his time with 87..
