Both Bloo Dennis and Blue Hickey are home from hospital and in good spirits.
Bloo Dennis posted this shot on facebook to announce his arrival back home.
Marie & I would like to send our best wishes to all our members who are in hospital or recovering at home. Hope everything turns out well for all. Our thoughts are with you
for a speedy recovery.

Ken Sceney has just been talking to Dot Leslie and she tells us that Pete is in hospital having an operation for bowel cancer. He is in there for a a few days waiting results regarding chemotherapy treatment.
All the best Pete from all of us here, and also to you too Dot.
Good to hear that Bluey is doing well. We send our love to him and Helen..Just a bit of trivia for you, Sandra was in that bed 8 9 weeks ago having a new knee replaced.
Just looked back and apparently somewhere, floating around in space, there seems to be a post that I am certain I posted earlier that I can no longer find, so to set peoples mind at rest……..Blue Hickey underwent a triple bypass heart surgery op a week or so ago, and whilst still in ICU he suffered a minor stroke.
Helen has been keeping us updated with the info on his progress, and today we went in to visit him and he looks good, sounds good and should be out and about reasonably soon. He is in a general ward room now and out of the cardiac care unit so that is a good sign. Greenslopes bed 8 ward 45
Just around the passage a bit, in a different ward but on the same floor Bloo Dennis is occupying a room. He is having trouble with his dickey knee and when we called in to see him his room was empty as he was being operated on at the time, so any further news will duly be passed on as it comes to hand. Greenslopes bed 17 Ward 47.
Last report I got from Helen reports that Blue is recovering in Greenslopes and has been moved from ICU to a general ward. Apparently very limited damage from the stroke so all seems to be looking on the bright side.
Ken Sceney found this excerpt recently so I guess its about time I put it in. My apologies for the delay.

Merry Christmas all and try real hard to have a great and prosperous New Year as well.
Regards
Glen & Patsy

PS any more that come in I will add to this page rather than start a new one each time.
My old Hard drive in my ever faithful computer gave up the ghost about 4 months ago so I bit the bullet and went out and purchased a brand new one.Β Following a month or so of retrieving a lot of old info and reinstating programmes (and trying to recall passwords that were put in place under a certain frame of mind that have long since passed from mind) I was just starting to have a win when I was hit with a Ransomware virus that disabled a lot of widows programmes. I though I would outsmart the ransomware bit by restarting my computer to an earlier date, but that was unsuccessful, and it wasn’t until I attempted to update my Garmin traffic doohickey that Garmin firstly informed me of my ongoing computer problems and secondly rectified my computer before allowing me access to their site.Β Alls well that ends well…..or so I thought.
Now we are in the midst of hooking up to the NBN debacle, and outside world contact is as about as reliable as the ever changing weather conditions.
At this moment, I think and hope that we are back on top of things so, while couple of broken ribs try to heal, I will try and catch up with a few backlog greetings and articles that I have received from various people. Thank you for your patience.
From Pom Adcock and Sue.
To all the Family of 87, Sue and I wish you Happy Christmas and a safe and happy New Year
