I went to a Corps function at 7 CSSB the other day and was informed by a Lieutenant from 26 Squadron that on Friday 17th November of this year, 87 Transport Troop was disbanded. I am still waiting an Email from said officer with the details but from what I can gather the disbandment was apparently through a lack of manning capabilities. The past few months the unit was under the command of a Sgt.

The last 87 was nothing like the 87 we remember, no tippers,  Macks and Mogs GS.
