With great sadness I must inform that Jim Thomson slipped peacefully from us just after 0500 this morning 11/12/2020. Jim’s overall health and functions had been failing badly over the past few weeks, and he was recently admitted to to Greenslopes palliative care unit where he has been cared for.
Our thoughts go out to Marie and the rest of his surviving family.
Funeral information will be released as it comes to hand.

So very sorry to hear this news. I remember when l first met Jim and that was when he was being posted to Darwin, I think, before his stint in Vietnam. He has since told me some great stories about Blue (Graham) and what mis adventures they got up to at Pucka. Deepest sympathy to Marie and family.
